Welcome to Dockside Cabins
Dockside Cabins offers nine updated 1 and 2 bedroom cabins situated on 2.5 acres in a no-wake zone in Chetek, WI on the Chetek Chain of Lakes. Our cabins feature vaulted ceilings, spacious kitchens, baths, and generous cabinet and counter space. For larger families, we also offer a 4-bedroom lake home with a fireplace and 2 baths. Our goal is to provide you with a comfortable and relaxing experience in a beautiful natural setting.

Hi, we are Aaron and Carrie Amundson
and are excited to introduce ourselves to our guests. We have recently purchased Morning Sun Resort. We are excited to carry on the same values and traditions Mike and Becky have worked so hard to achieve throughout the years. We are equally as excited to put our personal touches on the resort, starting with changing the name to Dockside Cabins. We also own Lakeshore Dock and Lift. Both businesses will share an office onsite at the resort.
Pinerest cabin will become our full time residence.
Let us tell you a little bit about ourselves. We were born and raised in Barron County and have spent a lot of time on the Chain of Lakes. We have four children with the youngest being sixteen and living at home with us. Our older children live in South St. Paul, MN, Gainesville, FL, and Hammond, WI. We are lucky to already have two grandsons! Carrie is a teacher (for the past 22 years) and Aaron has worked for his family business his entire life, selling and repairing appliances. He most recently started Lakeshore Dock and Lift while continuing to work in the appliance business. With this new adventure, Aaron’s main focus will be managing Dockside Cabins and Lakeshore Dock and Lift.
